A good place for solitary contemplation (#50)
Walking along the High Line, I found myself on a street renowned for being a favorite backdrop for many photographers. Inspired, I aimed to capture an image of a woman from behind as she gazed out at the scenery, creating a sense that I—and through my photo, others—were experiencing the scene with her in that very moment. For me, the High Line Park is more than just a public space; it's a refuge for solitary contemplation, a place to escape and reflect. The transformation of the old railway into this elevated park has crafted a serene sanctuary amidst the bustle of New York City, offering a unique blend of nature, art, and urbanity.
